We restored a Secondary Settlement Conservation shophouse in Little India and designed it for multi-generational living. The home balances privacy and connection, with the first storey, mezzanine and attic levels tailored for the daughters and their families. The owners reside on the second and third storeys. Their Danish, Chinese, and Malay heritage inspires an eclectic aesthetic, reflected in curated spaces that showcase their art and furniture collection. The conserved front retains its original high ceiling for maximum volume, while a central courtyard invites natural light, ventilation and visual relief.
